Red Oak Natural Wood Veneer with Flake
Red Oak, also known as American Red Oak or Northern Red Oak, grows on the Eastern of North America. A faster growing member of the Quercus family American Red Oak veneer has a coarser, more open grained texture surface and its fibre is also straight.
Warm colour, coarse texture, straight grain and its medium weight makes Red Oak one of the most popular hardwood species, with a versatile and varied use and appearance.
Tiger flake red oak is quarter sawn red oak. "Tiger" describes a ray pattern similar to a tiger's stripes that occurs in some quarter sawn lumber. Tiger flake can appear in several hardwoods, typically red or white oak.
